Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley is ready to do whatever it takes to win a title rematch with reigning champion Petr Yan. Appearing on Believe You Me, the podcast hosted by Michael Bisping and Paul Felder, the American made it clear he intends to win every round. "I've got to make sure I win that first round and then the second round... I'm going to try to win them all, but I'll take a KO, I'll take a decision, I'll take a robbery. Give me however I can get it, let me get it," O'Malley said. No half-measures. The Russian came out on top 2-1 in his trilogy with Merab Dvalishvili, while O'Malley beat Song Yadong in January.

Although Song Yadong is also regarded as a contender for a shot at Yan, O'Malley's controversial 2022 victory over the Russian and his higher ranking make him the frontrunner. Both fighters are on two-fight winning streaks and are waiting for the UFC's official decision.
