Max Verstappen has said the atmosphere in the paddock has become far less stressful since Christian Horner's departure. The former Red Bull team principal left midway through the 2025 season, receiving a settlement reported to be worth around $100m (£75m). The four-time world champion stressed that he prefers an environment where team members get on well and the constant political tension is a thing of the past.

Asked about a possible Horner comeback or rumours linking him with Ferrari, Verstappen insisted it was neither his problem nor his concern. The Dutchman underlined that his focus is entirely on the development of Red Bull Ford Powertrains, the team's in-house engine project with Ford, and on winning the races to come.
