"The interest from the Gunners is genuine." Those words from David Ornstein have set the football world talking. Arsenal have opened the door on a move for Real Madrid's superstar Vinicius Junior, and the idea has already been signed off at every level of the club's hierarchy.
The Brazilian's future in Spain is growing murkier by the week. Both sides keep professing their commitment in public, yet talks have dragged on for more than a year without resolution, and his current contract runs out in 2027.
The deal is real. If no agreement is reached this summer either, the Spanish giants will have little choice but to add the 26-year-old to the sale list rather than risk losing him for nothing.
