Cardiff's Principality Stadium will host the biggest fight in British boxing history on 11 December, when Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury meet for the WBA 'Super' heavyweight title, vacated by Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua goes into the fight on the back of wins over Jake Paul and Kristian Prenga, while Fury, back from retirement, has beaten Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach this year. The promoters have reached an agreement, but with the American television audience in mind, the main-event ring walks will not begin until 1am local time.

The prediction is in. Former super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch backed Fury to win in an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport. "Tyson Fury wins on points at a minimum. But it's probably more likely that he gets AJ out of there. Probably round eight or nine. I think that's when AJ starts to fall apart," Froch said. "I don't think Fury knocks him unconscious because he isn't a massive puncher, but I think he puts three, four, five shots together and forces a stoppage. Maybe he puts him on the floor. Points win or late stoppage for Fury," he added.
