Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic is thrilled by the progress of Adou Thiero, a second-round pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Fully recovered from left knee surgery, the young forward is pushing for a meaningful role in head coach JJ Redick's rotation. "But what I saw from Adou this year and the improvement is insane. So, I'm very excited for him," Doncic told ESPN LA.
The Slovenian guard also said that the Lakers' new signings are underrated by the wider public. With his knee problems behind him, Thiero is expected to bring significant energy off the bench this season and carve out a role in Redick's tactical plans.
