Lucas Chevalier, the French goalkeeper signed for €40m, has lost his starting place at PSG to Matvey Safonov after a string of serious mistakes. According to L'Equipe, the 24-year-old plans to leave the club in the January transfer window because of a lack of playing time this season. Meanwhile, Arsenal have opened informal talks with Ryan Augusto, the 19-year-old right-back at Brazilian side Bragantino. The London club are looking to use the same approach that brought them Gabriel Martinelli.

There are other significant developments on the transfer market. Bayern Munich's French winger Michael Olise is not considering a return to the Premier League and plans to extend his contract with the German club, a deal that would make him the squad's highest earner. At the same time, Chelsea have refused to pay the asking price for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, which had risen to €70m.
