Luca Williams-Barnett, an 18-year-old midfielder, has caught the attention of Europe's giants with goals for England Under-19s against Norway and the USA. For all his potential, the Tottenham youngster has not been involved in the Premier League since the opening-day 3-0 defeat at Brentford. Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United are all closely monitoring his situation. "Because he's arrogant, but arrogant good for football," Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi said.
De Zerbi explained that managing young players is a delicate process, but said Williams-Barnett has a special character and real self-belief. Chelsea are planning a move in 2027 if he fails to establish himself in Tottenham's first team. Spurs have already opened talks with the player's representatives over a new contract in a bid to keep the young talent in north London.
