Alexander Volkanovski, the 38-year-old two-time featherweight champion, believes the undefeated Movsar Evloev represents the most favourable stylistic matchup for him in their title fight at UFC 333. The Australian acknowledged that the Russian beats virtually everyone in the division and fully deserves his shot at the belt. "Movsar Evloev knows how to win. He's undefeated... When we're talking opponents, again, very worthy opponent. I think he is the best outside myself," Volkanovski said, paying tribute to his challenger's skills.
For all Evloev's impressive numbers, Volkanovski is convinced the Russian's wrestling and grappling will not cause him insurmountable problems. "I think he beats everyone else in the division. But when it comes to a matchup and stylistically, I believe one of the better matchups for me," he explained. The Australian insisted he cannot be beaten over 25 minutes and issued a stark warning to his opponent. "I truly do believe I can put him out before the fifth round," he said.
