The Toronto Raptors have brought Kawhi Leonard back from the Los Angeles Clippers. The two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player returns in a blockbuster trade that sends Brandon Ingram and Grayson Dick to California, along with two future first-round picks, two second-round picks and a pick swap. Leonard produced a career-best campaign last season, averaging 27.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists across 65 appearances, and now rejoins the franchise where he made his name.
"We're thrilled to have Kawhi back in Toronto," Raptors general manager Bobby Webster said. It was Leonard who led the Canadian franchise to its first, and so far only, championship in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the 2018-19 season.
