Canadian welterweight Mike Malott knocked out Joaquin Buckley with a pinpoint, devastating knee in the second round of the UFC Fight Night main event in Edmonton. The blow sent Buckley's mouthguard flying and gave Malott an emphatic claim to Knockout of the Year.
"I might be soft-spoken, but I'm f---ing hard-hitting," the Canadian declared after his win in the Octagon. The victory was his fifth in a row and will see him take Buckley's No. 10 spot in the rankings.
